Homeschool/Educator Curriculum Exchange
Description
To provide a platform for repurposing and reusing educational materials, we are excited to launch a monthly curriculum exchange for local educators in Pamlico County!
Local educators are invited to the library once a month to browse educational materials donated by other members of the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to exchange your lightly used educational resources for those that others may no longer need. Currently, the library has a variety of workbooks available, ranging from pre-kindergarten to 6th grade. Feel free to take what you need and leave behind any materials that you believe could benefit someone else!
There is no fee to participate, and you are not required to donate in order to take materials. All items are available thanks to donations from community members. This event is open to all educators, including families of children looking for summer bridge activities and additional learning support.
Additionally, patrons who either have a library card or sign up for one during this event will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the 2025 Summer Reading Program!
